Rhyme & Reason is the soundtrack to the documentary film, Rhyme & Reason. It was released on January 14, 1997 through Priority Records and featured production from the likes of The Ummah, RZA and Beats By the Pound. The soundtrack found a great deal of success, peaking at #16 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and spawing the hit single "Nothin' But the Cavi Hit]". The album was certified gold by the RIAA on March 17, 1997.
